Le piston s\u00e9pare la face interne du cylindre de la face externe. Ceci cr\u00e9e une grande force avec la fluctuation cons\u00e9quente du diff\u00e9rentiel de pression hydraulique de chaque bras et du v\u00e9rin de godet, cr\u00e9ant ainsi le mouvement d&#8217;une ou des deux parties du bras. En contr\u00f4lant la quantit\u00e9 de liquide pomp\u00e9e \u00e0 travers la vanne, le mouvement du bras peut \u00eatre facilement effectu\u00e9. Ce mouvement est activ\u00e9 par l&#8217;utilisation de vannes de commande situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de la cabine.<a
